Separate yourself from visions, underneath an unresponsive sky; quilted grey unfolds the growing snow. Turn and face results of living in the arms of disembodied love. Bitter cold moves through you like a ghost.
Pull me from this dream
I am real today
Show me there is more to life than lies and effort
Hold me to the night
So I can feel alive
It's simple now you say you move just like the others
Calculate this whole admission: turn your back against this weather front; seasons come forecast this failing home. Nothing's permanent and we're fading out, every night it seems that you're someone else. Move from room to room in the pulsing dark, to the shape of you, to the calm of drugs.
Pull me from this dream
I am real today
Show me there is more to life than lies and effort
Hold me to the night
So I can feel alive
It's simple now you say you move just like the others
Hold me to the night
So I can feel alive

Throw your arms around the idea that we're waiting for something more to come along. Oh, it's too long long a life. Every word's a secret to unlock with reasoning, to ask what's the meaning of all this time?
Now it's all around me
Overhead it must be
Holy ghosts that haunt us
Calculate our loses
Right the wrongs to teach me how we've failed and weakened. Hold me down and show me love. The right comes down to what you know. Give me all your secrets; this forgiveness is a curse. Now ask what's the meaning of all these lives?
Now it's all around me
Overhead it must be
Holy ghosts that haunt us
Calculate our loses
There's no reason to this, love. There's no reason to this love.

I hadn't raised my voice in years and had forgotten how to wrap my mouth around the words to try and spit them out. Now every second, every sentence just comes spilling out on to the floor in to a pool of "I remember now."
I will be replaced
by anything or anyone
I can't keep this straight
the words I keep forgetting now
How hard must I fight
to feel the night life
where on the inside
I have stopped trying?
We can't replace the time we spent on hope and settling, where every word was analyzed and pulled apart within. I don't recall the sunset, I don't recall assembling, no: you won't remember my name.
It takes too long this forever; recall, recollect altogether: you won't remember my name.
I know this light's temporary, how it frames your face I'm regretting. I won't remember your name.
I will be replaced
by anything or anyone
I can't keep this straight
the words I keep forgetting now
How hard must I fight
to feel the night life
where on the inside
I have stopped trying?
No one will remember me at all.
